Bradley Reinhardt
Bradley J. Reinhardt is a Toronto-based Indigenous artist, art director, and designer, and a member of the Batchewana First Nation of Ojibways with Ojibway and Swedish roots. Drawing on the visual language of Woodland art and the stories of his Ojibway ancestors, his paintings and graphics fuse traditional forms with the raw energy of punk and street culture, creating bold, symmetrical compositions that pulse with balance, tension, and movement. Each work is conceived as a narrative of history, identity, and resilience—an act of reclaiming stories eroded by colonization and carrying them forward in a distinctly contemporary voice. Whether working on canvas, in print, or in digital media, Reinhardt’s practice is driven by a commitment to learning, honouring, and extending Ojibway storylines, inviting viewers into a vivid, evolving vision of Indigenous presence today.
