Artists
Curio Atelier works with a small, growing roster of emerging artists, with a focus on women, self-taught and BIPOC voices. We sell original work only, never mass-produced prints or open editions, and often pair these artists with vintage pieces in our advisory projects.
We keep the roster small on purpose so we can support each artist closely, and we add new artists slowly.
Why these artists? We put emerging, BIPOC and self-taught artists at the centre of what we do. Read why.

Commission a work through us
Love one of our artists but can’t find the right size, palette or subject? We can arrange a commission through Curio Atelier. Pricing depends on the artist, the size and the complexity, and asking costs nothing. Tell us what you have in mind and we’ll tell you what’s possible.
For artists
Curio Atelier takes on a small number of emerging artists and studios each year. We look for a strong studio practice, original work (no mass-produced prints), and a fit with our focus on women, self-taught and BIPOC artists.
Artists receive 80% of every sale we make. We pay on time, within 15 days, and we look for placements that help an artist’s long-term career.
If you think your work could be a fit, introduce yourself with a short note and a link to your portfolio or Instagram.
