Our Artists
Curio Atelier represents a growing roster of emerging artists whose practices align with our focus on women-forward, self-taught, and BIPOC voices. We champion original work only, no mass-produced prints or open editions, and often pair these artists with vintage pieces through our advisory projects to create homes and spaces that feel lived-in, human, and layered.
We keep our roster intentionally small so we can support each artist closely. New collaborations are added thoughtfully over time.
Why this roster looks like this
We intentionally centre emerging, BIPOC and self-taught artists.
Commission a work through us
If you’re drawn to one of our artists but don’t quite see the right size, palette, or subject on their page, we can facilitate a custom commission through Curio Atelier. Pricing varies by artist, size, and complexity. There’s no commitment at the enquiry stage. Tell us what you’re imagining, and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
For Artists
Curio Atelier works with a limited number of emerging artists and small studios each year. We look for strong studio practices, original work (no mass-produced prints), and alignment with our focus on women-forward, self-taught, and BIPOC perspectives.
For primary sales, we typically operate on a 20–30% advisory commission, aligned with agreed pricing and project scope. We pay artists on time (Net 15) and prioritise placements that make sense for the artist’s long-term practice.
If you feel your work may be a good fit, you’re welcome to introduce yourself with a short note and a link to your portfolio or Instagram.
